We all need to get certain things straight. First and foremost, nobody had expected Evangelist Tope to be infallible neither did I think of her as a saint or angel of a sort.

Be that as it may, Tope Alabi as much as she is entitled to a private live should equally bear in mind her pedegree in the Christiandom and the larger society as a respected song minister of the word of God. With her calling and status, there are expected standards of public comportment and decorum expected of her.

She shouldn't forget too quickly she is a role model to numerous of her admirers and followers. In life when you have attained certain height and status in a society,your appearance in the eyes of the public is something you definitely have to be mindful of.

If Tacha or TY had been the ones caught with those shakushaku dance steps, I am pretty sure nobody would have said a thing. We all are well acquainted with their pedegree vis a vis appearance in public events. Why did everyone condemn the dance steps of Senator Adeleke. It was simply because everyone felt such flippant dance styles were unbefitting of a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic.

A minister of the word of God should not be equally yoked with worldly lifestyles. She is expected to set a standard for other children of God to follow. Those dance steps originated from secular musicians who have continued to wreck havoc on the moral fibres of the society. Should the world now begin to set standards for the church. As a matter of fact, any responsible women/wife is expected to be decent in her public appearance,let alone a minister of God. I think it is not too befitting of her status.

You cannot continue to preach salvation to the people through your songs and yet come the front of the camera dancing like some street girls. No matter how we try to justify the situation, both her dressing and dance steps were simply brassy and frivolous too, particularly considering her person as a highly reverred minister of God. Why was a particular Senator condemned for taking a prostitute to a hotel?

Don't many of us do worse things? But then we need to know that a Senator a highly respected public officer, who is not supposed to be seen in such ugly scenarios. In a nutshell,this isn't a case of whether she has committed a sin or whether she will make heaven or not,rather it is a case of not being too conscious of one's image and reputation,as a respected public figure. I am really not surprised at her comments anyway. She needed to rationalize.

5 church members die after pastor made them drink rat poison

Five members of a church in South Africa who drank rat poison given to them by their pastor have died. Five members of a South African church have reportedly died after their pastor gave them Sowetan Live had reported how   Pastor Light Monkeyi , the founder of  Grace Living Hope Ministries, had mixed a very potent rat poison called Rattex with water and gave to his members to drink, saying that that death has no power over them as long as they drink the mixture which he said was for nourishment and healing.It was gathered that Pastor Monkeyi had told his members that they were not mere mortals and would not die from drinking the lethal dose of rat poison. It has now been reported that five of the members who drank the mixture   have died while 13 others have been hospitalized.
