The Centre Manager of the Lagos State Biobank, Dr Bankole Akinwale, has disclosed that the Italian, and only person who tested positive for coronavirus in Nigeria is fast recovering and eating a local meal, “Amala”. Mr Akinwale made the disclosure Tuesday, during a briefing and sensitization of religious leaders on Coronavirus and other communicable diseases, organized by the State Ministry of Home Affairs, at Christ the Light Chapel, Alausa, Ikeja. “With no other confirmed case, the index case is doing well. Our patient is doing well as the viral dose is dropping, and his appetite increasing, from our follow up samples,” he said. The woman nicknamed ‘Mama Aroma’ is reported to be notorious in the area for preparing delicious meals that are in high demand. Before her alleged death, the food vendor reportedly sold her Banga rice on a truck in the market where people form long queues to patronise her services. Nigeria has join the list of countries with cases of Coronavirus as two patients tested positive to the virus quarantine at a private hospital in Lagos. Announcing this at past 12 am via Twitter, the Federal Ministry of Health confirmed the case in Lagos state. According to the info from a reliable source said that, the two patients are a man who just came back to Nigeria from Beijing in China after the Chinese New year celebration and another woman who is said to be frequents to China due for business and shopping purpose. The duo were said to have boarded the same flight on their way back to Nigeria from China. Five members of a church in South Africa who drank rat poison given to them by their pastor have died. Five members of a South African church have reportedly died after their pastor gave them Sowetan Live had reported how   Pastor Light Monkeyi , the founder of  Grace Living Hope Ministries, had mixed a very potent rat poison called Rattex with water and gave to his members to drink, saying that that death has no power over them as long as they drink the mixture which he said was for nourishment and healing.It was gathered that Pastor Monkeyi had told his members that they were not mere mortals and would not die from drinking the lethal dose of rat poison.
